Spread the news and rock the pews for this divine musical comedy.

Sister Act is a musical comedy based on the hit 1992 film of the same name. The show tells the story of Deloris Van Cartier, a disco diva who witnesses a murder and is placed in protective custody in a convent. While there, she clashes with the Mother Superior and the other nuns, but ultimately transforms the convent's struggling choir into a vibrant, modern group, bringing new life to both the sisters and the surrounding community. With catchy songs, energetic dance numbers, and a heartwarming story of sisterhood and redemption, Sister Act is a feel-good musical that appeals to audiences of all ages.

We have been entertaining people of Staffordshire for 130 years. We are a group of people dedicated to promoting great theatre with wonderful local talent - and over the years, we've been home to a lot of it. Robbie Williams, Jonathan Wilkes, and Anthea Turner are just some of the names that have been part of our journey so far. Don't miss out on the next chapter of our story, book now to see Sister Act!

We are extremely proud of the shows that we produce but don't just take our word for it, here's what others say about our shows. Keen to find out how good our shows are for yourself? Book now to make sure you don't miss out on Sister Act.

[The cast] must be congratulated for their consistent energy and comedy, wide range of splendid and harmonious voices and their unrivalled connection with the audience, who they held captive from start to finish...

Once again, North Staffs Operatic Society gave us a great evening’s entertainment with their slick production. It was well cast and excellently performed... As always, North Staffs have come up with the goods.

...well rehearsed musicians and singers, empowered the whole cast, who were engaging and enjoying the show. Simply infectious.

Everyone involved were a credit to the show

This year we will be returning to the Stoke Repertory Theatre to perform Sister Act.

With just over 200 seats, this intimate venue will really immerse you in the action, but with such limited numbers of tickets, it's sure to sell out quickly, so don't delay, book early to avoid missing out.

At NSOS, we strongly believe in the power of local theatre. A local theatre company is more than just a group of people coming together to perform for you, it's a community of friends who support each other, who laugh, cry and grow together, who put their heart and soul into giving you the very best theatre experience possible. Local theatre companies act as community hubs to battle loneliness, support good causes, grow confidence and provide a voice for local people. We are proud that the cast of Sister Act all have links to Stoke-on-Trent and do it all for the love of pleasing their audience.

If you love theatre, love local theatre.
